My therapeutic approach is body centered, meaning that we do not separate the mind from the rest of the body, nor work with “the body” excluding the mind. The aim is to give your cognition sensorial roots and offer your senses cognitive understanding.

  • SOMATIC EXPERIENCING

    My work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing (SE) based on the following principles:

    - Trauma is anything that is perceived as too fast, too much, too soon and/or too little, too late

    - Your experiences “live” in your body affecting to different degrees all your systems, therefore any healing and process will also happen in your body as it relates to it’s surroundings

    - Knowing how to resource yourself is of immense value

    - Co-regulating means no sustainable growth happens in vacuum

    - Titration - going little by little, prioritising awareness and time for integration is crucial

    - Evolution is continually growing the well of your capacity and the capacity of our nervous systems to meet and be with life as is

  • INTEGRATIVE PRACTICE

    The way I work is integrative because I integrate tools and perspectives from different therapy methods. Depending on your specific needs I will complement Somatic Experiencing with any of the methods that I am also trained in making each session uniquely adjusted to YOU and OUR interaction.

    Also, I aim to always consider the social, emotional, psychological, physiological, environmental and ecological aspects of your situation. Being able to focus and go into details of a specific aspect without forgetting the interrelatedness of all the aspects at any given time, makes for a sustainable and effective therapeutic process.

    integrative practice opens the path of exploring ease, freedom, discipline and commitment. My aim is to provide possibilities for you to interlace the content of the sessions with your everyday life.

  • PRICING

    There is an old practice in France of discussing the price of your therapy sessions with your therapist. I like it a lot. I believe it is an excellent way of starting the process with trust, transparency and communication.

    - The price tag I put on my sessions is 110euro/session. This price mirrors:

    - The average cost of a therapy session in the part of the world where I am based

    - The amount of time and money that I have put into the knowledge that I have

    - It makes sense considering the tax system where I live

    - It is enough so that I have the possibility of continuous training, supervisions and personal sessions, all aimed to make me the best psychologist possible

    All this said I am very aware that 110euro is for many of us just not possible. And so I hope that you will reach out and let me know what would be a price tag that fits and makes sense for you. Here are a few suggestions on what I would love you to consider:

    - Your financial situation and what you can spend on therapy month to month

    - How you would like to financially value your time and commitment

    - How you would like to financially value my time and knowledge

    - What the average price for therapy is in your part of the world

    Above all, my desire is for us to start decoupling the belief that worth and value have to be proven and shown by setting a high price on something.

    Yes money matters but let’s be clear, neither the worth of my work nor my personal worth is determined by what you can afford or are willing to pay for my services.

  • THE HOW

    First contact

    If you want to get straight to it, go for the “book a session button”. Pick an available date and time, send the request and wait for the confirmation.

    If you have some questions/doubts or simply want to have a short introduction before you take the step to book a full session, you can reach out by email letting me know whether you wish to book a 15min intro call or simply type what is on your heart and mind.

    Where

    ALL sessions, meaning even the intro call, happen via zoom. What you need for a zoom call is some type of digital device with a functioning camera and microphone. Preferably you will have found a space where you won’t be disturbed and where you feel comfortable. It is a plus if you have access to pens and peppers, pillows and blankets.

    For sessions in person, the location is central Göteborg and all you have to do is show up on time.

    Payment

    Unless agreed otherwise you will receive an invoice for the session when your booking has been confirmed. I would appreciate it if you pay the invoice after the end of our session at the latest.

    During

    A session can for example consist of talking, physical exercises, mediation, visualisation, art and education in psychology/physiology.

    After

    If agreed and appropriate for your case you might get exercises to practice in-between the sessions and/or questions to reflect up on.

We are all just walking each other home.
